How is CTR Calculated?

CTR, or Click-Through Rate, is crucial, measuring ad engagement. Visualize your CTR with Topsort to track ad effectiveness and audience engagement effectively!

CTR, or Click-Through Rate, is an important metric that measures the percentage of clicks an ad receives relative to the number of times it's displayed. It's calculated by dividing the total number of clicks on the ad by the total number of impressions. CTR provides valuable insights into ad engagement and effectiveness, helping advertisers gauge the relevance and appeal of their ads to the target audience.

CTR = (Total Clicks on Ad) / (Total Impressions)

For example, if an ad was displayed 10,000 times and received 500 clicks, the CTR would be:

CTR = 500 / 10,000 = 0.05 or 5%

This means that for every 100 times the ad was displayed, it received 5 clicks.
