Depends on the setup and type of users.

Marketplaces report an opaque user ID that allows us to correlate user activity. If your marketplace knows that these are the same users (i.e. registered users) and reports the sale with the same user ID that they reported the impressions and clicks, the sales will be attributed to the ad.

If the marketplace doesn't know whether the user who saw the ad on the desktop and the user who purchased it on mobile is the same user or not, we wouldn't be able to attribute it to an ad.
